Colin McRae: DiRT is another scene of three series of racing games, signed with the name of the tragically deceased Scottish racing driver. In contrast to the second part, maintained in the youth, extreme style and putting the emphasis on competition offroadowe in DiRT 3 developers decided to return to the typical racing climates.

Colin McRae: DiRT 3 was developed using the licensed WRC – World Rally Championship organized by the FIA. This allows developers have entered the game in its many references to reality, including the racing teams of factory locations, as well as the history of the WRC. The game continues, however, allows for taking part in extreme offroad racing, which at one time dominated the second installment of the series.
